Lauren Gray serves as the Coalition's Program and Engagement Manager. In this role, she works with the Executive Director to lead advocacy, education, and oral health integration efforts, including the development of an oral health report card for Virginia. Additionally, Lauren is responsible for managing project work groups; identifying and engaging stakeholders and community partners; and conducting research related to oral health access, care delivery, and policy. Prior to joining the Coalition, Lauren interned at the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), providing research on value-based payment strategies and quality metrics for Medicaid waiver programs. Lauren also served as a social work intern at CrossOver Healthcare Ministry providing case management services to patients with complex medical and psycho-social needs. She earned both her Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Mary Washington.
